Outright Acquisitions
These are for IFA’s looking to sell their whole client bank or practice for a lump sum. These are usually best for a quick exit from the industry, and buyers will typically be large practices or networks. We always help our clients to achieve the best possible price.
Introductions
This is where the outgoing IFA is paid a commission on all new business generated by the buyer. These are often best for sellers looking to gradually wind down in a phased deal. They can also allow time for detailed succession planning. It can also be better for certain buyers, as much less will need to be spent up front.
Merger Options
With the forthcoming RDR requirements, IFA’s without the new qualifications will no longer be able to practice. However, it could be possible to remain in business without having to requalify. This can be achieved by merging with a compliant IFA business. The IFA will have the option of staying fully active, or winding down their involvement gradually over a longer term.
Monetizing Non Active Clients
We also help IFA’s to monetize their non active clients whilst remaining in practice.
